Here is this week’s Three to Read<\/strong>. The first is a Q&A interview with Old Testament scholar, Walter Bruegemann. He is asked some difficult questions about some pressing questions facing the church today. His responses\u00a0may be a bit provocative and bring up more questions than answers.\u00a0By doing so, hopefully, it will\u00a0spark some good conversation.<\/p>\n

The second article, takes\u00a0us\u00a0back to a recurring topic we\u00a0have been discussing\u00a0as a community: Noise<\/a><\/strong> and\u00a0Distraction<\/strong>. And it asks: What is it costing us spiritually? (You’ll hear more about this in the coming weeks as we head into the season of Lent.)<\/p>\n

The last article is a kind of devotional commentary on the parable\u00a0of the Good Samaritan<\/strong> (Luke 10:25-37<\/a>). It would be worthwhile\u00a0to take some to read this post alongside the passage in Luke to help you reflect more deeply on a familiar\u00a0story (and our current\u00a0political climate).<\/p>\n
